Executive Director

Block Island Health Services (BIHS) is seeking an experienced administrator for the position of Executive Director.  BIHS is a non-profit ambulatory care facility licensed by the State of Rhode Island.  It provides primary care to Block Island residents and urgent care to both residents and visitors.  The Director manages the center’s operations:  financial, personnel, business and clinical services.  The position reports to the Board of Directors through the Board President and is responsible for implementing policies, plans and goals set by the Board.     .

Chief Medical Officer

The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) position at Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island (Neighborhood) provides the opportunity for a physician leader to impact and influence the care of vulnerable patient populations. The CMO will lead the development of all of Neighborhood’s Clinical Programs – including quality management, pharmacy, medical management, and behavioral health. He or she will assure their effectiveness, coherency and consistency with Neighborhood’s mission, vision and values. The new CMO will have the opportunity to lead the clinicians through several major new initiatives, including the growth of programs to serve the dually-eligible (Medicaid/Medicare), Medicaid expansion (adults with low income without dependents), and Rhode Island Exchange populations. This will likely double Neighborhood’s current revenue within two years and lead to a sixty-percent increase in membership within a little over two years. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Neighborhood will serve as a member of Neighborhood’s Senior Leadership Team and be responsible for the clinical vision of the company. He or she must ensure that revenue enhancement, expense reduction, and quality and service improvement efforts of the company are effective and consistent with our clinical vision. A graduate degree in public health or management is preferred but not required. Experience in a behavioral health and/or geriatrics patient population would be a plus.
The right person will have served as an effective change agent leading an organization through times of transition. Social Services Case Manager

Description: Provide case management services, financial resource counseling, crisis intervention, supportive counseling, pregnancy testing and family planning counseling to high-risk health center patients. Family Practice Medical Provider:  Looking for full-time Family Practice Medical Providers to work in a local Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in northwestern Rhode Island.  The Tri-Town Community Action Agency Health Center is seeking qualified applicants as follows:
 
Required Qualifications:  Candidate must have a license to practice medicine in the State of Rhode Island and a RI DEA license.  Must be Board eligible or Board certified and have a strong commitment to working with the medically underserved populations.  Two - three years experience working in a Community Health Center preferred.  Hospital admitting privileges are required. All Providers must be credentialed with insurance companies and through the National Practitioner Data Bank.  
 
Hours:  FTE - 40 hours/week; at least one evening per week and rotating Saturday shifts with other Providers required.  Hours negotiable.  Schedule flexible.
 
On Call:  Light duty shared among Providers, with 24 hour answering service.  Use of Hospitalists.  Very light patient/hospital follow-up by Agency Providers, however, admitting privileges still required. 
 
Salary/Benefits:  Salary and fringe is lucrative/negotiable/comparable to other Community Health Center Family Practice Medical Providers statewide.  Benefits include sick, vacation, paid holidays, FTCA Malpractice Insurance, CME allowance, health/dental benefits, and pension with employer match.  Tri-Town is a National Loan Repayment Program eligible Site.
